This months technique at Sweet Stamps is....Masking. What is masking, you may ask. Masking is the technique of covering a stamped image so that other images may be placed partly over it without the overlapping area being visible. This technique will add depth and perspective to your art. It is a simple procedure, but it requires patience and careful cutting.
I used my ArtsyfArtsy Crown Butterfly butterfly stamp as my main image and then I used a butterfly from the Fanciful Butterflys set for the top image. I would suggest practicing on some scrap paper before jumping in. This will help you to determine if you need more ink or pressure ect. It's not hard but can be time consuming if you have
fussy images that require a lit of cutting like mine. If you have any questions, check out the other DT's work. We'd love for you to enter into this monthly challenge.
